Cryptorchidism complicating malignant tumor

Abstract

|
A 37-year old male was admitted with complaints of pain, fever and deep-lying mass in he. right lower quardrant abdomen on Octover 27,1967:.. Upon operation, large (fist-sized) ell-defined firm mass with smooth surface was found in right inguinal canal. Small amount -blood was found in the canal. which bled from ulceration in the mid-lower portion of the ass: The tumor was excised including attached spermatic cord and diagnosis was confirmed s embryonal carcinoma of testis by pathohistological findings. He was advised reoperation or wide lymphnodes resection, but refused and expired 18 months after operation with -eneralized metastases.
